Using ultra-wideband tracking (UWB) technology, CraneTagz determines the position of a worker wearing a special badge with an accuracy of six inches. Telemetry sensors also determine the position of crane loads to ensure safe work distances.

  It is believed that aluminum will replace steel in EVs to reduce weight. POSCO developed giga steel with less weight but better strength than aluminum stressing the importance of passenger safety. Giga steel refers to ultrahigh-tensile strength steel strong enough to endure pressure of 100 kilograms per square millimeter, or 1 gigapascal. Engineers at POSCO R&D are working with battery makers, parts makers and OEMs to test the use of giga steel in vehicle parts through computer-aided simulations. Aluminum has better formality and is lighter than steel, but the material is not as strong as steel. POSCO wants to stressing the importance of passenger safety in EVs through giga steel.
